Hello everyone! My name is Anna Barbour. I am a first-year student here at UNC. I am currently a Pre-Nursing major, and one day I hope to become a Nurse Practitioner! Many of us are very dedicated students, and we all know our academics consume most of our time. With that being said, in my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to UNC athletic events, going shopping, cooking, and watching tv.
Carolina is a great school, with a great academic reputation, but Carolina athletics holds a high reputation as well. Throughout my first semester of college, and the beginning of this semester, I have spent much of my free time, going to football and basketball games. I feel attending athletic events is a great way to get involved, meet new people, and show your school spirit. As many of us avid sports fans know, it can sometimes be difficult to get tickets to the games. To get tickets you must enter the lottery through the GoHeels website. Some of my favorite memories have been cheering on our Tar Heels with my best friend which is pictured below! One of the most important things about going to games is making sure you have on the most Carolina blue as you possibly can. The best way to find your perfect gameday look is to go shopping on Franklin Street! All of the stores offer the best fan gear, but The Shrunken Head Boutique is definitely my favorite! So, now it is time for you to enter the ticket lottery, buy all the Carolina apparel you need, and cheer on your favorite Tar Heel team!
